Wahoo this is so exciting...waking up to find out that I was Queen of the Day!!!! Girls you have made my day...here I was thinking that it was going to be grocery shopping, cleaning...you know all the boring stuff. Well it will be still full of that but at least I can wear my Crown with pride.

So the questions...
1. Aside from scrapbooking, what creative outlets do you have?
Well I really love to make beaded jewellery, finger paint, make masks, box collage, play with playdough...dang now that is scary...the only other creative things I do are with my children LOL! My daughter loves it when create together so its great to sit together on the sofa with our drawing books...she draws pictures of princesses and I doodle. So creatively that's it for me...aside from scrapping and designing that is. But one thing I'm hoping to get into more is photography. After 5 years of using a little point and shoot camera I've upgraded to a DSLR so I'm really excited to experiment with that...hopefully I can learn to take some cool pictures like I see here in the gallery.

2. What is your favorite thing to wear?
I'm a denim jeans girl...I LOVE my jeans. Its a bit frustrating at the moment because we are just coming into winter here in Australia and being 28 weeks pregnant my jeans just aint fitting. Well I could wear them but there would be all sorts of things hanging out so I don't think I'll go down that road lol!

3. What is your least favorite household chore?
Looking at the giant pile of laundry waiting to be washed and folded I'd say it have to be Laundry. I don't know what it is with the whole laundry thing...but no matter how hard I try I just can't get excited about scrubbing grass stains off pants and paint splatters of shirts. Luckily my DH is great at doing the washing part...(I knew I married that boy for a reason lol)...and my 2 year old son loves to 'help' with the folding up part so I've got some good boys helping me out!

4. Share your "designer story". How did you get started?
I initially just designed for myself...and my first steps into selling happened totally by chance and a lot of luck. I had just had my son and was finding it hard to focus on anything...so I thought I would do a layout where I listed some goals that I had...and that hopefully once they were written down on paper I would actually stick to them. One of the goals was to one day sell my designs. Anyhoo I used my products in the layout and posted it to a gallery of an Australian Scrap Store. The owner saw it and contacted me asking if I would be interested in selling at her site. It was really exciting to be approached like that but so scary...I really didn't think I was ready but then I am one big Procrastinator! So I took a chance and haven't looked back. I then got a spot at The Digi Chick and now at the Sweet Shoppe. Sometimes I still can't believe that I am doing this...

5. Who is YOUR favorite designer right now?
Man how hard is this question....there are so many talented and hot chickies out there designing. Okay so I can't pick one but designers that I really admire and constantly drool over their products are Meredith Fenwick, Eve Recinella, Michelle Coleman...amazing designers!
