hey ladies! sorry i'm a day late! :)
thanks so much for allthe well wishes and congrats!
and thanks, kirstyB for leading me over here! i've had my head in a hole for a couple of weeks! LOL

here are those dag questions!

1. Aside from scrapbooking, what creative outlets do you have?
we travel. and i mean tons. paris, rome, pompeii, pisa, venice, capri, london, bavaria, munich...we've been all over. it feeds my need for newness and it jolts my everyday 'blah blah' back into life!

2. What is your favorite thing to wear?
dude...my bra.....me and the girls don't feel like 'ourselves' without one. i will make the mailman wait til i have it on before i go get my package. after nursing three kidoos...it ain't purdy. come on! you KNOW what i'm talkin' bout!

3. What is your least favorite household chore?
the dishes. if i could actually express verbally my distaste for washing dishes, this would be a severely edited post. hee hee.

4. Share your "designer story". How did you get started?
once upon a time, there was a wet behind her ears, newbie digiscrapper named jan who (by miracle) got a spot on the DigiChick CT. she started designing freebies for challenge participants and was encouraged to sell her designs full time. she put her first kit up for sale when she was 8 months pregnant (THAT was a fun month! HA!). by and by she made many friends and even gathered a few fans (who are comicly loyal and sweet and wonderful). after about a year of selling, jan realized she was on the edge of breaking the law. (GASP!) she had to stop selling her designs because her foreign residency (darn those laws!) wouldn't allow her to work anymore. BOOOO!! so, jan stop selling and turned the tables on the government. (atta girl!) she started giving away all her designs for free so she could keep designing anyway. then one day a sweet friend emailed her and asked how she was (down in the dumps, fer sure, girl!) and they got to chatting and decided to go on an adventure together. they created songbirdavenue.com and have been designing and giving to charity ever since. (aah, bliss!)

5. Who is YOUR favorite designer right now?
my fave D has been and still is meredith fenwick. ever since i found her, i've been hooked. and i'm lucky enough that she is also the other half of songbirdavenue. everything she touches turns to gold and i learn something new from her everyday. she is flat out amazing. :0)
