Wow Debbie that's gorgeous!
Here's one I took last Sunday. We went down to the beach to get family shots for a Christmas photo.
My favorite poses are the ones of my whole family, but since my brother took those (with my camera) I can't claim them!
This is one I took while we were waiting for everyone to arrive.
Just my oldest being himself. The photo hasn't even seen the inside of Photoshop! :p

Well I didn't get any shots this week because I LOST MY CAMERA!! Then I went and bought a new one and gave it to my DH to take on his Alaska trip.

BUT! I found my camera tonite :) It had been hiding on my top shelf since the beginning of July... bad camera.

It's been a quiet photo week for me, but I got a 5D today and took a few quick shots of hubby. This one is my favourite.

Edited to change URL because I've made a LO using this photo, want to avoid duplicates in the gallery!

Took this of my nephew in our backyard on the 7th (what day is today? lol) He kept wanting me to carry him :)

This photo will be coming to a LO near you :D

ETA: The photos I took this day were over-exposed but I kinda liked the effect on the photos ( you'll see them in LOs in the future ;) ). I admit I don't know how to properly use my dRebel w/my new 50mm 1.8lens in the bright sunlight lol.

LOL, Jen - at least now you have 2 cameras! :)
Kim - such a cute pic! And I know - she's so very pretty and just a beach ball in front, otherwise, you'd never know...
Lauren - congrats on the camera and that photo is just awesome!!!!
Karen - OMGosh is he the cutest thing everah? I love how your photo turned out! I'm having the opposite problem - inside window light and they are too dark. :(

This is fun! :)

Here's my fav. one I just took yesterday. My green thumb has been a black thumb of death this year. I think I killed almost all of my flowers. I have never done that before. But my sunflowers have just started to bloom and I love these colors!

Amy, your son is so precious! Love your second shot of him and the BW conversion!

Debbie, I almost embarrassed to admit this... I do have a lovely 20D but no macro lens. I still use my Sony 717 to take all of my macros... its way too easy. Set it on auto, macro, frame and shoot! LOL!

Amy, I love that B&W of your son, adorable, love the contrast.
RockinC, not taken with a macro? Don't be embarrassed, be thrilled you have a camera that takes such great shots! I'm still trying to master my macro lens and have found my hands have more jitter than I ever knew. Maybe I need to lay off the coffee, LOL.

Wow - love the sunflower and the geranium shots! And I'm totally jealous that you have such beautiful flowers right now! Not as many flowers in AZ right now since it's so hot!
Beautiful shots of your son too, Amy!

Wow! You've all taken some fab photos, makes me feel silly hehe, Amy your son does look angelic :p Deb - WOW, I am aching for a new camera so I can have a bit of a better macro, Karen - I am gonna over expose every photo if it means I might end up with such a gorgeous one as yours ;) and just everyone, I love seeing your photos!

OK here's mine from Wednesday when we went to the seaside for the day, but nope this is isn't the seaside ;)

Okay...so not that it is some amazing piece of photography or anything...but it means the world to me...

We are in Tucson visiting my grandfather who recently had a stroke. The last picture I have of him with my kids was when Em was still a baby!! The setting is crummy and the lighting sucks but I will always cherish this pic!!

Awesome photos from all of you

@kirsty: sometimes those photos are the most valuable we have...

I did not take many pictures this week, but I love this snapshot of Lina, the daughter of a good friend

I adjusted the brightness and contrast a bit, but no cropping

WOW, these are some stunning photos!

My fave is posted in my most recent blog update. It's the one of Jan holding the chunk of Riley's hair and showing it to Riley. It's such a priceless picture!

Kirsty, that is what scrapping is all about, having the photos that conjur up memories that are precious to use. They don't have to be perfect, just meaningful. And besides, there are so many smiling faces in that photo I think it is perfect!

Selena, that photo is precious!
Oh my goodness Laura, that was a chunk of hair. I bet she feels light as a feather now :) Did you donate the hair to locks of love? I love the new cut, cute as can be.
Alissia, a good reminder for me to always have my camera handy on photo outings, even walks.
