Elements 3.0 problem - photo bin

I've got PS Elements 3.0. Just recently the photo bin started closing whenever work. It's really irritating! I can't keep the photo bin visible. Even when I click the up arrow next to Photo Bin in the lower left corner, the editing window snaps back open after a minute or so.

How do I fix this?!?!

I had this same problem a couple weeks ago. Go to edit>preferences>general and make sure "photo bin auto-hide" isn't checked. HTH

This kept happening to me too and I just knew it had to be something simple. I got great help from someone on the photoshop elements user forum.
