Possible to pull stills from DVD?

Posted on "chatter" board but realized I should have posted here:

A friend of mine went to training camp for the Green Bay Packers and was able to capture a couple good still pictures, but he also gave me a DVD he took with a video camera. Is there any way to pull still pictures from this DVD?

You can try using Ulead videostudio 10. I was able to pull still of my ultrasound from my camcorder using it. Its worth a shot & you can get a 60(?) day trial of the software.

Yes, you can do frame grabs,... although I was using my Hubbys editing bay.... do you have an editing program on your puter?
