OMG...I SOOOO wish I had a little kid in my family right now. Check out this toy:

Fisher-Price Digital Arts & Crafts Studio (http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=10&e=dacslanding)

My niece is too old for this toy but wow...if it had been available even five years ago, I would have bought it for her. What a great toy!

For those of you who have little ones who would love to create alongside of you, this would be the perfect gift. It looks like so much fun! :)

Pamela, I obviously missed your post. I was wondering if this product had been available in stores for a few months. I just noticed it!

Cheryl, it looks like so much fun. I'm sure you're grandson is going to take to it like a duck to water. I love creative toys for kids! My creativity started waaaay back then with an Etch-A-Sketch and of course, the Big Box of Crayolas. I could spend hours creating and it was a great way for my mom to keep me busy. ;)

Hope it provides hours of enjoyment!

That is awesome! My daughter (almost three) likes to sit on my lap and scribble on my tablet. Here's one of her creations:

My daughter got this for her 5th birthday a couple weeks ago and here is my review:

The pen writes pretty slow. And when it loads or opens the program on the computer sometimes it loads without sound or stops in the middle of something and the program becomes non-responsive so I have to restart the computer.

Overall it is a pretty neat toy my daughter does enjoy it. You can import your own photos and make a scrapbook. She also got the extra cartiridges that go with it, She got Barbie Princesses and Dinosaurs. I know the Barbie princess one has a scrpbook you can make and print. I just haven't checked to see if you can save it and get it printed elsewhere than home. Like I don't know if you can print out of the program. Haven't really looked into it. But if we could I see Shutterfly books in the works for her! :) I also think you can make a scrapbook in the program that comes loaded with it.

I think once she plays with it a little more she will get the hang of everything and hopefully I will find out what is causing the program problem, possibly the virus software running in the background or maybe just their own internal bugs. I dont know that is really all that bothers me about it.

Wow! that looks like a great tool! The only problem I would have with it, is my two boys fighting over who gets to use it. :)

My mom mentioned that she was looking for this for my 6yo DD for Christmas. I hope she finds one!

DGS (age 7) just informed me today that he no longer wants to be a fireman, doctor and soccer player, he now wants to be an artist LOL, and I've been really stumped on what to get him for Christmas this year. I think this may be it!

My DD loves using my graphics tablet :)

And, once again, a product that does not work with a Mac - sigh. So Robyn, you are going to have hang on anyway.

I just purchased this for my sons (7 and 4) who have Windows machines in their rooms. Target has a free shipping over $50 promo going on right now so I even saved $12 on that. Yay!

Thanks for posting this!

Huh? We are a PC household here, no Mac's in sight. ;-) I may yet just have one shipped from the US. LOL We already have all her gifts but it might be worth bumping one or two for this. LOL

Jaz LOVES using my old tablet with KidsPix so she will love this even more. Her jaw dropped when I showed it to her. LOL And she doesn't know you can get fairytopia software for it yet! I have added it to her kaboodle list. ;-)

I just bought one of these today at Meijer. I had an $8 off coupon so it was hard to resist. I got it for DS6 for his Christmas gift. He was with me when I got it but he assured me that by the time Christmas rolled around he will have forgotten that I bought it and it would be okay for me to give to him. :lol
