Hey all . . . can anyone tell me if the stuff in the sidebars is restricted to only one side or the other? I cannot get my side bar calendar to move to the other side. I can move it up and down the list on the right side, but if I try to move it to the left side, it won't go there at all. Getting just a tad bit frustrated trying to reorganize my blog. :spin

It isn't restricted. Log in, click on your blog, then you can edit what goes on what side by going into the design > order comment section. Then you drag and drop stuff to whatever side you want it.

that's weird. you should be able to move anything you want, where ever.

I think maybe the force just isn't with you. ;)

Yeah, I can drag and drop other stuff within the same column. I just can't seem to move the calendar. That is the only one that won't go across. Hmph. **stomping my foot**

wait, I know what it maybe is. you're using a template for the design, right? maybe it's part of the template?

grasping at straws here. :)

Does it matter which account you're signed up for? I know you have to pay more for certain design privileges (like to edit html you have to be a pro user).

Yes, I am using a template. And I pay the $89.50 per year, so I think that gives me full access. I can move everything around and it even lets me move the calendar up and down. Just not to a different column. I swear, either I am going nuts or Typepad and I just don't get along. LOL

:lol Seriously....it should be very basic to decorate a blog by now. Just give me straight dimensions and let me drag and drop and nudge things where I want them!

The only thing I know to try when mine doesn't show my changes is to clear my cookies and exit all apps then go back in to see if my changes really did take. I know one time it took over 5 minutes for my changes to go into effect, but FINALLY it was there.

AHA! That did the trick, Kris. Thank you so much!!! :)
