I have just found this site today after following a link in a thread. Wow - there was so much to see there....boy I have sure been missing out!!
I am still finding my way around and more than a little confused. :shrug

What are the actual 'shows' - how do you see or hear them? What times are they on?

Also what are the best bits to check out on the site - I think I need a guide...lol I am such a newbie with all this - it's beginning to scare me.... hehee

I'd love to hear about what you think about the site and the things to do and things not to miss out on.

There are several different types of Shows (http://www.disctalkradio.com/dnn/Shows/tabid/58/Default.aspx). Click on the "listen now" button under any of the categories and it will bring you to the most current show available. The provide all the links to everything they are talking about for your easy viewing (and shopping ;) ) pleasure.

How I listen to the show is when you scroll all the way down (after hitting one of the "listen now" buttons) you see a grey bar w/the sound icon, play icon, etc. I usually wait for the entire thing to load (all the white in the middle turns to grey) and then play it. They also have a 'download' button (slightly above the grey bar) and I believe (but do not know for sure since I don't do it that way) you can d/l it and play it on your ipod or something. There is also another 'download' button under the grey bar.

You do NOT need to be a paying DSTR Supporter to listen to it, but you DO need to register (for free) to listen to the shows. If you do purchase the monthly/quarterly/yearly subscription, you get a free kit from one of their partners for each month you are a supporter.

You're gonna love it! It makes the community come alive, I think. I usually download it (Though it takes a long time) and then load it on my ipod and listen to it in the car. But the Coast to Coast show is one I sit down to listen to because they spotlight products and layouts. I think it's TOTALLY worth $3/month to support it, free kit & discounts or not!
