We're
having
a Secret Santa Photo Swap, and we'd love for you to join us. To play, just email us a few photos you'd like to have scrapped, and you'll receive some photos to scrap for someone else. We'll all guess to see if we can figure out whose photos they are and who made the layout.
To get started, email no more than five high-resolution version of the photos you'd like to have someone scrap. (They do not have to be Christmas pictures.) Email the photos by midnight Sat., Dec. 8 to secretsanta_photoswap@hotmail.com (secretsanta_photoswap@hotmail.com)
*Your pictures should be named with your KB and Friends username and numbered 1, 2, etc.
*State what size you'd like the layout done in. 12" x12", 8" 1/2 x 11", etc.
*Santa's elf, Jennifer Schmitt, will rename the photos, so no one knows whose photos they're getting. She'll send you the photos.
*After you create your layout in high-resolution, according to the size requested by the photos' owner, send a copy of the layout resized at low-resolution for the gallery to secretsanta_photoswap@hotmail.com (secretsanta_photoswap@hotmail.com). Layouts must have at least one item on them from KB and Friends. Gifts from the downloads gallery and the newsletter may be counted as your one item from KB and Friends. Layouts are due Fri., Dec. 21.
*We will then have a contest for you to guess both whose pictures they are AND who scrapped the layout. **PRIZES INCLUDED**
After the contest is over, participants will be responsible for sending a high-resolution copy of the layout they scrapped to the person they scrapped for. You'll want to use a file-sharing service such as YouSendIt or 4Shared.

Join creative team member Laura Lou Bashlor in her new Scrap-a-Recipe challenge. Simply scrap your favorite recipe at 4" x 6" at 300 pixels per inch by Jan. 30, 2008. Make sure you use at least one item from KB and Friends (free gifts count). Thanks for joining me for my Treasure Hunt!! Here's how to play:
On the first Saturday of each month I will post a list of 20 images/items that are found within in the KBandFriends store listings. You'll have until Midnight, CST on Sunday to find as many of the 20 images/items as you can and email the item and where it's found to me: tammymoore.msntlm@yahoo.com (tammymoore.msntlm@yahoo.com). Everyone who sends me the location of at least one image/item will receive a fabulous freebie from a KBandFriends designer. Each participant who finds all 20 and emails me the correct location of each will be entered into a drawing for a FREE KIT coupon from a KBandFriends designer (participating designers will vary). Freebies will be sent and free kit coupon winner will be announced on the first Monday of the month.
Details and Rules:
1. List of Treasure Hunt items/images to find will be posted to this forum by 9 AM CST on the first Saturday of each month. Emailed entries will be accepted through Midnight CST on the first Sunday of each month. Freebies and the winner's free kit coupon will be emailed by Midnight CST on the first Monday of each month.
2. Items/images may be found in more than one shop listing. All correct answers will count.
3. You must include the designer's name and kit/listing name in your answer.
