Misunderstood Hymns!
Bringin’ in the sheets! (Bringin’ in the Sheaves)
That saved a wrench like me. (wretch) from Amazing Grace
Andy walks with me, Andy talks with me. (And he walks…)
Low in the gravy lay. (grave He) from Up from the Grave
And sinners punched beneath that flood. (plunged)

And then there was the kid who named their teddy bear "Glady"
(Glady the cross I'd bear)

Kid who drew a nativy scene including a figure with goggles and scarf in a plane
(Pontius the Pilot, of course)

I had some from when I was young...No spot is dear to my childhood (thought
it was our neighbor's dog, Spot.

DD was singing and dancing around the room at about 2 years old...."what are you doing?
"Mommy, the song says "Rejoice, sing crazy! and I am!"
(Rejoice, sing praises!)
