Are events entered in the calendar in the BROWN banner viewed only by the user who enters them? In other words, is this a personal event reminder tool??

I think that one adds everyone's birthday as they first create their logins. Not sure if you can add your own events.

I was able to add my own event and schedule an event reminder, but then I deleted it because I wasn't sure if it was going to be seen by everyone! So, I thought I would ask first.... :)

That calendar will actually be deleted. We don't have any use for it and it confuses people when we say things like "Be sure to check the calendar". We'd rather this one (http://www.digishoptalk.com/cgi-bin/calendar.pl) be our only calendar.

Shannon - is there any way to move that calender to the main forum? where the birthdays are? I was confused this morning. Having it embedded under chats is confusing maybe?
thanks for considering it,

I'm confused. That calendar is right at the top of every page of the site. :think See the menu bar? Featured Designer, Forum, Gallery, Digital Directory, Chat Room, Calendar, Contact, Gold Membership, Home.

So will the main calendar be able to send out reminders for those events we want to make sure we attend the way the other "birthday" calendar does? That's a helpful feature, but it doesn't seem to have that function as it stands now.
EDIT: My bad. The birthday calendar doesn't have a reminder function.... at least I couldn't find one! I know SBB's calendar had one that I utilized often. That must be the one I was thinking of. :)
Still........... Is it possible we would get an email reminder feature with this calendar? I looked at their web site and didn't seem to be a feature like that offered, so I'm guessing no. :(
