Smile Can I just Toot my own Horn?

I still consider myself pretty new to scrapbooking and photoshop in general. Only had it for a few months. Every day I learn something new and everything I've learned has been self taught or by online tutorials. Today I attempted my first photo "edit" (aside from colors, crop, exposure etc). And I think it came out pretty darn good.

Here is the original photo. And while I loved it, and I love both my DS's, I didn't really want one standing in the middle of my great action shot of the other with their dad!

And here is my edit (without my 2nd adorable child)

And while I know it's not perfect...I think it looks darn good in my LO!

I am just so proud of myself for figuring it out and having it actually come out realistically. Thanks for letting me share this small personal victory with you.

Wow, you did a fantastic job!!! I remember the thrill the first time I did this. For some reason there were no photos of the groom's family when my daughter got married. Could be because his father was his best man. At any rate, I cut the maid of honor out of the picture so it was just my daughter, her hubby, and his Dad. He was so thrilled and so was I!

Yep! Exactly what I did. They were playing and I took a lot of pictures, so I lopped his foot off of one pic and put it on this one.

Thanks everyone for your nice compliments!!
