Camera Recommendations?

I have the Nikon D5100 and I love it! I recently upgraded to it from a Nikon D40 because the shutter on my D40 broke. The D5100 is almost the same, but it does have more megapixels and the photos are so much better!

I have never used a Canon camera, so I can't help with that.

I think that one is just as good as the other though, probably. The only reason I didn't switch from Nikon to Canon when my D40 broke is because I already have a nice collection of Nikkor lenses.
