I just started a blog about a month ago. It's about scrapbooking. I'm trying to scrapbook about myself more and I'm using the blog to help with that.

One way I have found to increase blog traffic is to participate in Blog trains. Most of the stores have them and some do them every month...I know Scrap-N-Pieces does....and they are open to anyone who wants to participate. You just have to be a member of their forum. I have had hundreds of people visit my blog to download the blog trains because there are so many designers participating in them who are well know so people are thrilled to get something of theirs for free and then they follow the train to grab the rest as well. And it is really fun to do, helps you get more proficient at designing and make new friends along the way. You might give it a try.
