it's a fiskars. This one seems to be the closest to it. I got it at Costco (surprise, surprise).

I'm coming to the point where I can accept the fact that I will not have perfectly straight cuts . . .

Okay I don't have one like that, BUT I did start out with two different sized Fiskars trimmers like this and I could never ever get either one of them to cut a piece of paper straight! So annoying! So I think its just a Fiskars thing not operator error lol! I ended up buying a pink & green Provo Craft one that I never have any trouble with.

I had to laugh at your post, because I took a stab at a hybrid project last night and found myself cursing the glue dot dispenser! Unless you're supposed to be tangled up in used tape coming out of the dispenser, I think I'm using it all wrong! Now I remember why I use a computer...

LOL - Mimi, I have a similar model and it's very hard to get perfectly straight cuts out of it. I'm currently looking for a new one, but I want one that cuts 13" (I print layouts on 13 x 19 paper), any suggestions would be great!

I have a closet full of discarded trimmers! (Fiskars and Purple Cow included)

I'm very happy with the Making Memories self sharpening one. Michaels has it and you can use one of their 40% coupons on it.

I cannot operate a paper trimmer either. I still use my rotary cutter to trim everything.

This post made me giggle. Just a couple of hours ago I was working on a project and I told DH, "This would really suck without a paper cutter." It honestly did make my task so much quicker.

I have an X-acto laser cutter. It sends a laser light exactly across where the blade will fall each and every time. I never have a doubt about whether my cut is accurate or not.

ETA: This is the one I use. X-ACTO LASER TRIMMER
