No comments in the praise game? What are the chances?

I'm used to playing the praise game and getting just a few comments instead of a whole bunch - I know it depends how things go and where it is in the thread and how many people are posting and what kind of day it is and all of that - but how much does a layout have to suck to get NONE in the praise game?

I don't let that kind of thing bother me usually, but when there are lots of comments on layouts right before and after mine, it kind of feels like people must be opening it up and saying "Hm, if I have nothing nice to say...."

Anyway, I know the point of the game is everyone gets a comment, and if you get more than that - well, that's really nice. I don't expect more than that, and I hope its just some weird coincidence that everyone seems to be skipping over mine. I can't suck THAT much. right?

Um, I tried to go to your gallery to leave you some praise... but I used the link at the bottom of your signature. It says 'there are no images in this category'. Have you checked your link there?

I did check the link in the praise game thread (several times ) but I never thought to check my signature link. I'll fix that, thanks!

I have actually done that before. I will post in the praise game after leaving praise without realizing that someone posted after I clicked on the link who may have been faster then me and skip that person. It may have been just an oversight of the person posting after you. Like maybe they posted at nearly the same time or the exact same time you did?

Yeah, I understand that because its happened to me before - I don't pay attention to who leaves comments but I've noticed people griping that *some* people don't post on the layout before theirs and I think, well - usually other people will comment, so IMHO, it doesn't really matter who does, as long as everyone gets a comment or two. I also know it fell on the end of a page, which is kind of a bad spot. I sometimes go through the thread and post on the last LO's on each page because I know they tend to fall through the cracks.

I have noticed that if my LO is the last on the page it often gets very few comments. Most people leave a comment on the LO above theirs, and if yours is at the bottom of the page the person might forget to go to the previous page to comment.
I always try to leave love for at least 5 or more LOs above mine, even if I have to go back a page or two -- and if I post late, I will come back later and post to ones in front of mine. Because once it switches to the next praise game, the LOs at the end of the previous one usually don't get any more comments.
Please try not to take it personally, it is defintiely not a reflection of your work, just where your LO lands in the thread. Or you can do as a few others do, and post it again in the next praise game.

well I always leave prease for everyone who posted before me...and the more I comment, the more I get back...maybe a weird question, but how much do you praise while playing??

And I also noticed that A LOT of people play more then once lately, so they post today and tomorrow...not sure why that is though!! But I'm fine with them posting more then once, AS long as they do return the comment!!!!!

Awww...I'm really sorry that happened to you Cheri!! If it makes you feel any better--I don't get too many comments anymore on my LO's. I quit playing the praise game, and I don't really cruise the gallery anymore. So I guess that's just the way it goes for me LOL . But I think I'd be a bit frustrated if I got no comments and I *did* play the game. I'm sure your LO's are great though!!

I try to leave praise for at least 10 to 15 people before me, and then some randoms that catch my eye in the gallery. But yes sometimes I do not have much comments either.
