Default Has anyone ever used Paint.net?

I just stumbled upon this program - Paint.net, and I am in the process of downloading it. But I want to know if anyone has used it?

I am in search of a new program to teach classes with. I use to use DIP - but since Microsoft discontinued it, I don't want to teach with something they can't buy I wanted to go with PSE6, but I need to be able to put it on about 20 computers and I think cost wise this might not be possible.

I saw Paint.net and since it is FREE people could go home from class and download it, play etc. and then decide if they like it I have noticed that if people don't have a program at home, they aren't as likely to continue digiscrapping.

Any reviews on this product???

Teriann, I played around a little with it before getting PSE5. It seemed to be a pretty easy program for a beginner. Sorry I don't have much more input than that. Here are a few links I had used for it:

I did try it. And like Chris said, it's nice for a beginner. I couldn't figure out how to do a few things in it, like duplicate an image, but that was probably me being impatient. Let us know how this goes for you, ok?

My DD used this program and LOVES it. Its perfect for her since she is a beginner. Of course she uses it to edit photo's and not scrap with.
