Default Ohio Voters - Issues for Nov. 4

So, what are your thoughts? Here's SOS Website with the issues listed and the pros and cons:

Issue #

1 - To provide for earlier filing deadlines for statewide ballot issues

2 - To authorize the state to issue bonds to continue the Clean Ohio for environmental revitalization and conservation

3 - To amend the constitution to protect private property rights in ground water, lakes and other watercourses

4 - WITHDRAWN

5 - Not quite there yet - Referendum on Legislation Making Changes to Check Cash Lending, Sometimes known as "Payday Lending", Fees, Interest Rates and Practices

6 - To Amend the Constitution by Initiative Petition for a Casino Near Wilmington in Southwest Ohio and Distribute to all Ohio Counties a Tax on the Casinos

#1 - I've got read up on it more

#2 & #3 - I'm thinking "yes"

#5 - if it's on "No", ETA, duh, I mean't "yes" (guess I pulled an Obama )

# 6 - I'm thinking "No", not that gambling in the state wouldn't be a good idea. I was more in favor of it when it was tied to education (college), and I don't like the loopholes whereby there could be a chance of no taxes and only that area could have gambling (if I'm reading correctly).

#1 - I'm thinking yes but I need to read more on this. I'm struggling to find more information on most of the issues.

#2 & #3 - I'm thinking "yes" also

#5 - I'm going with a yes on this.

# 6 - I'm going back and forth on this one.

1 - To provide for earlier filing deadlines for statewide ballot issues Yes

2 - To authorize the state to issue bonds to continue the Clean Ohio for environmental revitalization and conservation Yes

3 - To amend the constitution to protect private property rights in ground water, lakes and other watercourses Yes

4 - WITHDRAWN

5 - Not quite there yet - Referendum on Legislation Making Changes to Check Cash Lending, Sometimes known as "Payday Lending", Fees, Interest Rates and Practices No. Still looking into the *database* naysayers say the state would be implementing.

6 - To Amend the Constitution by Initiative Petition for a Casino Near Wilmington in Southwest Ohio and Distribute to all Ohio Counties a Tax on the Casinos Still trying to get of the bottom of the loopholes. I support casinos, but not ones that do not pay taxes, especially is there are further restrictions on those that would pay taxes.

1 - Yes

2 - Yes

3 - Yes

4 - WITHDRAWN

5 - Not sure I haven't read the whole issue yet

6 - No. I support casinos, but this issue reads with way too many loopholes, I'd love to vote yes, but this isn't the right one.

For those of you who support casinos, I'd like to point out that those casinos support a dangerous habit that leads to bankruptcy, foreclosure, divorce, depression and suicide. It seems so fun and lively when you think about visiting Vegas or Atlantic City but the reality of being able to pop off to the casino for lunch has tremendous consequences. I know many residents of Nevada have been able to resist and a slot machine is no more apparent to them than a candy machine but, for states where gambling is a novelty, it can be extremely dangerous.
