Cool Silly/fun school dress up days

I'm the head of the "School Spirit" committee at DS's elementary school. This committee is in charge of all the "fun" days at school where the kids get to wear something fun/different/silly to school. I.E. Silly hat day, backwards day, etc...

I'm looking for some other cute, fun ideas that the kids would love! Anyone have any? What do they do at your elementary schools?

Our school does that for one week and the kids have to pay .50 per day or $2.00 for the week. One day is crazy sock day, another day crazy hair day, etc.

Other than that, they really don't do anything because of the dress code.

This week we have:
wacky hair day
sports day
school spirit/colors day
twin/triplets day
pj's day

I don't neccessarily recommend jammie day though, I think the kids are old enough where that isn't neccessarily appropriate anymore. But I will let my dd wear her robe over her clothes so she can still participate.

I think the kids have been most excited about the wacky hair day though. They loved that.

When they have PJ day, I refuse to let my kids do it. Don't know why, I just don't think it's appropriate.

My daughter loved the crazy hair day. We put her hair in lots of little pony tails, then sprayed it blue.

Wacky Wednesday (which is a favorite in our house!)

We have PJ day too but I don't like it that much either.. if they have sweats and a tee shirt I just let them wear that.

Last week was say no to drugs week:

Monday was crazy sock day - drugs are crazy
Tuesday was scarf day - I forgot the analogy
Wednesday was boot day - give drugs the boot
Thursday was sneakers day - something to do with sneaking
I forgot what Friday was but my daughter had loads of fun participating.

You could have a school spirit day where they were your school colors, patriotic day, career day, what wil l you be in 2028 day.
