Beautiful magazine. No, I don't really count down anymore to the holidays. When my children were small though they each had an advent calendar and we opened it together everyday until Christmas.

Yes, for sure I count dow to the holidays! This year we made an advent calendar for my daughter (aged 3). Inside each tube is the day's activity, a candy and the verse from the Bible we are reading to read the Christmas story. (Read my blog today if you want to see what fun things I've planned for each Day in December! www.lindyadele.blogspot.com)

Here is a picture of my hybrid project!

Absolutely. We have an advent calendar, homemade by Grandma. I just remembered I haven't put it up. December snuck up so quickly. Off to do that now! Thanks for the reminder.

I usually just buy one of those chocolate ones. I wanted to make one this year but didn't get to.
