Ummm? How hard do you think it is to find a pencil in my house that clearly states No. 2???!! I would hate to say that I did not fill out my absentee ballot because I could not find the right kind of pencil!
__________________![]() I have mechanical pencils and a few "old fashioned" pencils (you know, the kind you actually have to sharpen), but whhhyyy can't I find JUST ONE that says No. 2??? No sense in filling out the ballot and mailing it in if the machine cannot read my pencil lead.

I thought most leads are No. 2? I'd just fill it out with whatever you can find...I'm sure it will be fine!

Is mechanical lead #2? I will go with that. I would have assumed most of the unmarked wood pencils were #2, but then I found a pencil in the can that clearly said No. 1. That was what got me thinking about it in the first place.

With 3 kids in school at my house, it is just pure LUCK if I can find a No. 2 pencil....or any pencil for that matter, LOL!
