I asked this the other day, but I don't know if maybe any of you know what could be the problem. Basically my ink seems to be oversaturating on my layouts when I print them out. I like to use HP premium plus photo paper in soft glass. So it's not really, really glossy, but you'd think it was when you see how it's been printing lately. I've always had great results with this paper, so I don't know what's up. It looks like a runny water color when it's printed and distorts my pictures a LOT! Here's an example of it. As messed up as this is I kind of want to keep it because he looks like a little pixie running through the grass and it makes me laugh a little every time I see it.

I don't have any idea what the problem is but I'm pretty sure that when Rhett is a teenager, he will not be pleased with you for keeping a "naked pixie" layout of him!

Wow Laura, that's weird!!
__________________You've used the same exact paper and ink before with no problem? Have you tried cleaning the ink heads? There should be a tool for it in the printer settings. Also, try cleaning the contact points (the gold chips where the ink goes in) with a soft cloth and rubbing alcohol. Then unplug it from the power and the computer and leave it overnight. Sometimes mine just needs to reset a bit and then it's fine again. |
