Heart breaking phone call
I'm adopting my kids thru foster care. I got a call yesterday from the kids' caseworker. Seems baby M (the kids' biological sister) has just come into foster care. She's not even 3 months old. We had decided once we knew she was pregnant that we were not going to take the new baby, but our niece in Reno is willing to take the baby in so it stays in the family.
__________________Just so heartbreaking that their birth mom is losing baby #4 and she's not even 23 years old yet. Oh, and she thinks she's pregnant again? Ugh, some days I just want to cry. Christina Wall

It is very sad. During our orderal with the birth parents (before termination of rights), they were on and off again and even talked about trying for a boy! It was sad...but the Bio Mother had to have surgery to tie her tubes for other reasons so that was a blessing. I hope the baby finds a great home, either with your sister or someone else. And I am sure your kids are so grateful for you!

Poor kids indeed! It's a travesty that she can keep having babies and it doesn' seem to "touch" her when so many women struggle with infertility and would cherish the children they were given.

Christina... you knew it was gonna happen. I am so sorry. 23 years old. Man.
__________________We have a foster baby that we have just fallen in love with, head over heals. Her parents are young and they just might get it together. Imagine that, huh? She just might be the first child we ever send back home. Big hugs.

Wow Christina. I don't know how you do it. It's a special person to be a foster parent. I hope the baby is able to find a good home, keeping her in the family would be great.
