Does anyone use Aperture with their mac for tagging their scrapbook stuff? I have a question or two and can't seem to find the answer in the book.

I tried to use Aperture for organizing a while ago, but I found it impossible to use with png files. I used PSE then and I use CS4 now, but I still have the same problem. When you try to open a png file from Aperture it either gets a black or a white background and for scrapping it needs to be transparent. Have you found a way around that? Not much of a help....sorry!

Oh, I didn't even think of that. That's so silly for such a cool program. I had used Shoebox up until now, but it froze when I made an update and I can't get it to work anymore. I see there's a beta for ACDSee for the mac, but only if you have 10.5 or higher.

That's exactly what happened to me too with Shoebox. I ended up using Microsofts Expression Media. I have used it for more than a year and haven't had a problem with it. It is pretty expensive, but I got a good deal on ebay.
