One of the most special birthdays I remember is my 30th. My hubby and I went for a drive and ended up about 8 hours from home. We spotted a beautiful restaurant where we wanted to go for dinner but after driving all day we were pretty ratted out. Found a dress store and both my DH and I found some fancy new dinner clothes and away we went to our awesome candle lit birthday dinner. It is one I will truely never forget.
Since I have dozens of beach photos to scrap after spending 2 weeks at the shore over the past holidays, Half Moon Bay would be the perfect kit to scrap them with.
Happy Birthday and will keep my fingers crossed.

I'd say my 30th birthday was the best ever.... I was given a huge surprise party. All of my friends and family members were there.....co-workers, a friend I hadn't seen in 4 years flew into town. It was just soooooo crazy. I went shopping w/ my mom in the morning (a planned event to get me out of our house). My mom picked me up and that morning I took a shower, threw my hair up in a ponytail, wore levis, a t-shirt and my Nike sandals with socks! Yes, socks!!!!!! I'll never forget getting into my mom's car that morning. She said, "Are you sure you don't want to go change into something more, ummm...nicer?" and I said..."Mom!! We're going shopping, who's going to see me, and since when have you cared about what I am wearing???" she then says, "Are you sure you at least don't want to wear different shoes...?" Again, I said, "Mom....come on, let's just go.... I don't care who sees me!!!"

Little did I know, 3 hours later I'd be at my own party with 50+ guests. It was so shocking. I laughed, I cried, and then went and got changed!!!!!

I don't remember celebrating my bday when i was little. I know that for the 21 yrs I've been married I've never gotten a bday or Xmas or anything present (yeah somehow I ended up with 2 different marriages in which they beleive that things like this is a ploy to promote consumerism).

I do have a picture of when I was three with a bday cake - but I don't remember getting the cake I only remember being scolded because I let the beaters get batter on the counter - so the picture must have been the next day or something - I can't remember.

But I do remember one time and I'm pretty sure it was my birthday, we lived in Ohio and I was in 2nd grade. I was surprised to see that Mother should up at lunch time and that she brought a cake. It was a tree and it included mini cupcakes that were iced pink to represent apples -- so I'm pretty sure it was my birthday as there would have been no other reason for her to come. The kids thought that it was so cool.

My mum's surprise 60th birthday. My two brothers flew in from overseas to add to the surprise, and it was just a completely fabulous day.

thanks for the chance - I love the Gingerbread kit.

My last birthday in April this year was pretty cool, it was my 26th, but it was my first as a mum. We did nothing all day, but I didnt cook, clean or even change a nappy. I just got to enjoy lots of cuddles from my husband and our 4 month old. Perfect!
