My sister has a Canon PowerShot Pro1. She changed some settings and she has no idea how or what she changed. I'm trying to read the book, which may as well be in French LOL. I use a Kodak Easy Share so it's easy! Anyway...
__________________When you use the LCD display it now shows the picture only as a thumbnail with all kinds of information on it. Anyone know how to change it back? She also uses a 1 gig memory card. I'm thinking she somehow changed the resolution, but once again, she has no idea what she did! It's still showing that she can take 999 which, if it's set at 8 MP, just can't be! Any help you all have would be great! I can hardly wait to learn more about this camera since I did read enough to find out it shoots in RAW, which I've been wanting to try. And it has the whole white balance thingy too, and since everything we seen to shoot these days seems to be in fluoroscent ligthing, I'm really anxious to play with too.

I have the PS2 - did she hit the display button more than once? With the camera in shooting mode, keep hitting "Disp" and see what happens. I think - based on what you're describing, that should fix it.

I have the 30D and I know if you hit the display button a few times you can change your options. I do prefer the histogram setting (which might be what she now has it on). Then you might want to check under menu and quality. If it was the setting it came with you could also hit clear settings...good luck
