Default Wacom tablet help

Ok, if I were a so so digi scrapper who had no interest in designing, would I need a wacom tablet, and if so, what size would be ok?

My birthday is coming up and I just think I have to have every tech gadget out there and it drives my hubby nuts. But, I think I really want one of these--so, is the 4x6 ok or do I get the 6x8. Also, I heard the pen buttons were better on the version 3 vs version 4. Any advice??

Thanks!

Well I use 6x8 and can't imagine going any smaller than that. I don't know about the differences between versions. I got the Intuos .something, dont know what number or anything. I LOVE mine and hope to never have to use a mouse for anything ever again

I have the Intuos 3 4x5 and love it!! I don't use a mouse either. I haven't had any issues with mine being to small although that was a concern for me. I'm scrapping in an armoire so not a lot of room LOL. Go to the Wacom website, there's a quiz to fine the "right tablet for you"

I have the intuos 2 4x5 and have even used it with dual monitors - it is GREAT ! I love mine so much - it saved my wrist hence allows me to use the computer more. I also got the graphire 3 when there was a close out sale. I like having two cause I often jump between desktop and laptop. I don't use a mouse now. I've had the intuous for a few years now and beside replacing the cover with a piece of plastic from the art store, it is great. Unfortunately it gets dropped a lot cause it slides off the leather sofa, but haven't noticed any probs. It is a smoother movement than the graphire but my guess is that if you never used the intuous you wouldn't notice it with the graphire.

I DEFINATELY recommend getting one and USING it.
