Default photobook printing in the UK

I'm hoping to get a photobook printed soon and was wondering if anyone else in the UK had any advice, suggestions or companies for me to look at, or to avoid! I'm not sure at this stage is I want 8x8 or 12x12 (mainly dependent on price!) I just know that I want it square!

Thank you!

I have recently had a photobook printed, 12 copies of it! During September, a group of us from our church went on a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, I made an album of the combined photos and had printed for each pilgrim. I had them done here in South Africa at My Photobook, I cannot speak highly enough about their quality and service - outstanding! Googling I see they have My Photobook in the UK - I assume it is the same company, may be worth a try?

Hi Katie!!!
I live in Poland and I order my photobook in Artscow, Hong Kong. The quality is great, I have 8 books so far, I ordered few for family and I'm really pleased with them. One of my friends wasn't pleased with colours she got, but in mine everything is great.
I always order 8*8 book, 20 and 40 pages.

I can give you links of preview of book I ordered. I had more but I removed them at the end of year.

Most of pages are mine but there are also some RAK pages I got from friends.

Here's link to photos of printed book:

Thanks for your replies!!

Oh wow Magdalena, what a beautiful book!! Thanks for the links!

I've discovered lots of US based companies will ship here, now I just need to do the maths and see how they compare pricewise to having them printed here!

Be careful with this as you may also get charged customs tax when it comes into the UK. I had some LOs printed in the US and they charged me £35 customs tax before they would deliver them.

I had previously had 2 sets delivered with no extra charges but this time they caught it and made the charges. I think it is a bit hit and miss as to whether they do charge or not, maybe I was just unlucky this time!

I second Artscow
I have all my stuff printed through them & I've loved everything, the quality is amazing. So far I've had 2 photobooks (8x8), 8x10 prints, a keyring watch, a keyring bottle opener, a small coin purse and a 12mth calendar. It costs next to nothing with all the codes you get when you sign up & I've never had a customs charge or anything like that (I'm in the UK too)

I have never ordered books from Photobox but I have ordered prints and they were lovely. They were super quick as well. Hugs Crystal xx

I use Artscow too. Find the quality great, and have been really pleased with everything I've had done. Only thing is the post takes forever, so if you wanted to have something by a particular date, make sure you do it well in advance!

I'm not a big fan of Artscow's quality. But, the price is certainly cheap enough that you can try it out and see what you think. Many people are okay with it, but I'm super picky. LOL
