Default ISO a simple CU diamond or bling

It seems so basic, but almost NOBODY has one! A clear, colorless, diamondlike gem that's CU.

I've bought Thaty's photoshop gemstyles, which is good for some stuff, but still not what I want. I've bought about 4 things, but once you see them up close, they aren't what you assumed they'd be from the small preview. Not necessarily bad, but never predictable from the previews.

Also, Yarrow's gems are REALLY, REALLY close, but too small and has metal prong settings around the gem. Tracy Little also has one of the best I've seen thus far, but I'm still looking for something very clear and colorless.

Most things are pictures of scratchy plastic, colored gems... Help! Any leads?

Unfortunately I have no leads on a large real diamond...
but there is a set of gems in this grab bag by Mistique that are gorgeous! None are white, but they could probably be recolored.. they look very sharp close up too - no scratches!

Thanks so much, Eva! There is a diamond there (the top middle gem is a diamond), as well as a perfect sequin, gems in different shapes, two murano beads and two pearls, different shapes.

All of the gems are shown actual size, based on a 3600x3600 canvas.

Default Thanks on the leads

I just found Silvia's last night, don't know how I haven't seen those before - I'm a big fan of her aged papers and postcards, so I've definitely looked at her stuff. It's hard knowing which keywords - I use gem, gemstones, rhinestones, bling, diamond, but I've got to search for each of those words at every single store. Can't say I don't accidentally forget which ones I've done.

Where are the Made by MisTique ones sold? I love the hex shaped gem that's aqua colored. I can't find any links online when I do a google search for "made by misTique"? Okay, didn't even get to finish typing this post before I switched browser windows and tried "MBM Made by Mistique" instead. Found it!

This is why I love the ISO forum - you get to learn about new stores and designers you've never even heard of!

I do want a clear white diamond, but I have lots of use for unique colored gems as well, so this has been really helpful. If anybody else has any more recommendations, lay 'em on me.

Thanks ladies - it's my very first post in this forum - I was definitely scared to post, but I'm glad I did.

Hmm, if I'd read the URL on the product packaging, I could've found the grab bag in like 20 secs, huh? LOL. Glasses, anyone?

And clicking on the image takes you there. Usually when people respond to ISOs, they set up their post that way, or include a link with the image.

Nope, clicking took me to a grab bag reveal site, not the store, so that's when I got panicky. But seeing the reveal made me want it all the more! LOL.

And I think I overstated what I was looking for - it doesn't have to be a diamond per se - it could be cut glass or c.z., just not a plastic-looking kraft gem. There are lots of those around, not hard to find. I just want something that's diamondy-enough. LOL. I do understand why there aren't a lot around, considering you'd have to have access to either loose cubic zirconiz or something...

Thanks everyone.

Default What else I found

Okay, single gem in Tracy Little's Designer Mix 7 is GRRREAT! Her shop has moved so it might be temporarily not for sale, but it'll go back up once she's finished reloading items to the new store.

Also, her gems, although craft gems, are pretty cute here:

Also yummy are Armina Design's various broches (all real bling), and Rachael Scrap's broches as well.

Just wanted to share so that anyone searching for past forum entries gets a thorough rundown from this moment in time. I'd read some past posts when I was looking, but unfortunately, most of the links were dead or things were no longer available for purchase.
