Week #5 of 52 - Project 52 Challenge

I want to welcome everyone to the Project 52 Challenge that we are hosting here at Gotta Pixel. In 2010, we hosted a 365 Project (where you took a picture a day) so this year we thought we would give everyone a chance to relax a little!

How does this work?

Each Saturday Gotta Pixel will be posting a photo assignment. It will involve a new theme, subject, style, technique or style that we want you to try out. Some of these assignments may be one's you've tried before and some may be brand new to you. Either way, we want you to challenge yourself artistically and think outside of the box! You will have until the next Saturday to complete your assignment and post your photo (or photos) to the Project 52 gallery (don't forget to share what you came up with in the assignment thread too!).

Week #1's Assignment - Black and White Photography
Week #2's Assignment - Rule of Thirds
Week #3's Assignment - Red
Week #4's Assignment - Use your self timer
Week #5's Assignment - Saturated

So far this year we have learned several new things about our cameras, taken some red pictures and erased all the color all together. This week I want to see photos that fill the space with color.

Saturated:
(of colors) of maximum chroma or purity; of the highest intensity of hue; free from admixture of white.
