This script was asked by a card maker. The designer wanted a way to quickly create individual layers from an image so she could cut them up and layer them. This script is doing more than she expected so you can use it not only for hybrid but also for scrapping. (the designer made a card using this script; click on the preview to see it) If you want a chance to win this script, tell me if you ever did a hybrid project with your digi supplies. I will be back on Monday night with a winner.

I have made pyramid cards for all my grandchildren. I would love to have a script or action for Photoshop to make them. It takes me forever to figure out the different sizes to use for each card.

I create original digital designs and embellishments (not using CU products), which are often used in hybrid products. Two-sided, lightweight papers make great tealeaf folding flowers, and lace cutout designs as I can predetermine my colors and contrasts, plus get the paper weight I need.
Every year I create up to 20 specialty Christmas cards for special friends and family members who appreciate the time I put into them (the same design, used as a more simple card, goes to everyone else who is just happy to have an original card!) This year, I sent my design off to Spoonflower to have it printed on a beautiful organic cotton for a soft fabric cover. I also sent my design to stamps.com to have my design printed as US legal tender postage stamps. It was also repeated as return address labels and stickers. The stamps are a bit pricey in themselves, but as part of a gift presentation, they're priceless. This year I also gave sheets of the stamps for personal gifts to my daughter and stepmother who loved the unique feature on their own cards. Window cards, with designs on inkjet-printable clear acetate, can be used as beautiful sun catchers. Be sure to use high quality inks and keep them out of DIRECT sunlight. I've also created patio lighthouse hanging lights using designs I created on my computer on backlight film (which actually keeps white as white, not clear). I made so many sets of those that I finally had to take them down awhile as my spare time was too involved in them, and I like to create different items. I found a few layered templates combining stripes and circles which are great for hybrid work. I print out one blank, showing the positioning, then separate the pieces to eventually print on one sheet of paper. I often add ribbons and flowers, etc, between the printout layers. I also prefer to spray non-photo-paper images with a fixative to pull out the colors and make them more durable - just be sure the fixative is safe for printer inks. |

No, I have not done any hybrid projects, nor any paper scrapping.
Thanks for the chance to win, Cassel!!!!!!! |

Congratulations to Holly49. Is there anyone out there that could make an action for Photoshop?
