Need to work on a set color palette but feel it is boring with only 5 or 6 or 7 colors? Use this script to generate intermediate colors that will still perfectly match the initial palette. Perfect to expand the color scheme for creating kits, elements, or decorations on your layout. If you want a chance to win this script, simply comment on how you think you could use this script. I will be back on Monday night with a winner.

Wonderful script, I'd use it for exactly what you said, lol, expanding my colour pallet when working with colour palettes that are kinda boring, it would be perfect to add more choices.
Thanks for the chance to win

Okay, I hate to come in here and wax poetic, but this script was also my idea, and one thing her description didn't say, and the preview didn't really, really highlight was the HEX CODE!! You don't have to use the dropper, get the code, try to remember it, and get it down in text so you can copy and paste later. The hex code is part of the palette strip.
Also... It is very easy to have an open document, do three or seven of these, or 11, or 20, and put them all in one image. You'll have a brilliant rainbow of colors to "hit" when you go in with stamps, brushes, or layered effects for papers. Shadow colors, and little things, like contrasting thread for a button that looks like nearly the same color, but isn't. This is cool for two things - one is you can introduce a couple of kits and add ons, and they all can "go together". There are several designers who do this, and as a customer, if I have the first kit they put out, I tend to buy the second kit, too. The other things is you could bundle it at retirement and the preview looks really good and put together. Needless to say I have already found this to be useful. I had a photo of a blue Swiss lake and the Alps behind it. But when I chose a palette from the photo, the palette was ugly. I don't know how that happened because the dropper was set at 9 pixels x 9 pixels, but it was ugly. It was too fake and vibrant and it burned my eyes. LOL! So I did a gradient strip and chose my own colors that looked good to my eye and yes, they looked perfect with the photo. And it has the hex codes!! ![]() Suzy
