Default Post Surgery Update

I'm back, in case the other post didn't make that clear.

My surgery went well. I stayed in the hospital three days and then stayed at my mom's for two weeks to recover. The kids stayed with their father, in Kentucky, an extra week because I wasn't ready to have them underfoot the weekend they were due to come back. Back to school shopping the last possible weekend and not completely recovered was less than ideal, but what can you do?

I'm back and work full time as of last week and things are getting back to normal. I still get really tired by the end of the day. Yesterday I was officially allowed to start exercising and swimming again and I can't believe how weak I feel in the water. With baby steps and patience I should be a better version of myself in no time. (I hope.)

Welcome back, Lori! So glad you're feeling better. Just give yourself some time to heal; you'll be back to normal before you know it.

Recovery takes time, but if you make sure to go slow and steady, you'll get there.
