Default DRebel Strap alternative

I have grown to hate the strap on my DRebel. It's so itchy around my neck and actually gives me a little rash. So now, I'm looking around for a nice comfy strap that won't give me a rash. Any suggestions?

I've been thinking about getting a neoprene strap for the longest time lol. I've heard it makes wearing your camera more comfortable.

Have you considered sewing a cover for it? Or maybe crochet or knit? You could start a new trend, LaWanna!!

Be daring... go strapless!

I have the Lowepro strap. Comfortable but I hardly use it, gets in the way of the lens as I'm dangling the camera up and over something. But I'd definitely recommend a neoprene strap over those awful Canon ones if you're going to use one.

The neoprene strap is really comfy, but I kinda like the idea of the cover. Like maybe a scrunchie look, 100% cotton would be good. Come on, LaWanna, give it a try!

Well you know. The scrunchie would fit right in with the 80s look. Now let me see if I can find my leg warmers. ,

I just bought a new strap for my Fuji FinePix 5100, which is a little smaller and lighter than a dSLR. However, it gets heavy if I wear it for long, and the strap wasn't comfortable anyway. I got the Op/Tech Super Classic Strap. It's Neoprene and oh, so comfortable. It's got a little elasticity to it, so that helps with the comfort level. Here is a link to the information about it. I bought mine at Adorama. I know it's probably overkill for a camera that's not a SLR, but hey, I'm all about comfort.
