Default Book of Me inspirations

Has anyone ever done of of those "Book of Me" classes or projects? I'm wanting to capture more of my own story and could use some prompts, suggestions or inspirations!

I've never done it, but SuzyQ Scraps and Ziggle Designs did a Project: Love, Me last year. Their blog has tons of prompts.

Log Your Memory has a book called Scrap Your Real Life that I reviewed on my blog - you might find it useful

Some years ago a friend gave me the book by Amy Krouse Rosenthal Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life. After some weeks I read it and that was so rewarding not only in terms of scrapbooking. I have since made some books about myself. It might be a rewarding read, it is a thin book As it turned out I didn't really need any special supplies or classes but they might be a good idea when you look for some inspirations. Sometimes those classes might give you some good input where you least expect it. I recently took one (not that subject) and the materials where lala really but the gallery was soooo good and much more inspirational to me than the materials. Someone else might have a different perception of the same experience of course

Christine: I am giving this a read after I read your blog post. The preview of the book looked quite good. Thanks for the tip.

I've started one. I started in paper, and have since done about a dozen digital. I haven't decided what I'll do - maybe print these layouts for a hybrid album?

Sometimes I'll treat it as a journal entry. Something just for me. Other times I'll see something or think of a story, and realize its something I'd want my kids to know, KWIM?

I've really been enjoying the challenges at The DigiChick and feel as if I've been using their prompts to do very personal/BOM layouts.
