Default Why Women Still Can't Have it All

I'm not posting this in Hot Topics- because I don't think that anything in the article is actually controversial- but perhaps I'm wrong. If so- feel free to move my post!

I wanted to post it because the article is a must read for all women (in my opinion) and was curious as to other's thoughts/opinions.

My perspective- she's right on the money. My family life works because my husband and I made a joint choice more than 13 years ago to have him stay home full time while I pursued my career. Having him home makes my work possible. I also made a conscious choice to choose firms/companies that promoted a work/life family balance.

I know that not everyone can choose to have one spouse at home- and not every employer allows employees to make their own work schedules (as I typically can.) I'm very lucky to be able to do so- and to spend the time with my children that I do.

I think what the article I saying is SO important...anyone have thoughts? I'd love to hear them.
