I've seen this asked a few times, so I thought I'd do this three step tutorial. In the examples, I'll be using my gallery... well, because I can.
![]() I use Firefox, the only step that should be different in Internet Explorer is getting the image URL, so I've done two part steps for that. 1. Enabling the Enhanced Editor This is so you have all the pretty clickable buttons when you post - makes everything a lot easier. Select "User CP" from the top of the board. Select "Edit Options" from the sidebar menu. Scroll to the very bottom to "Miscellaneous Options" where you'll see the following box... ![]() Select Enhanced Interface from the "Message Editor Interface" dropdown and press Save Changes. 2A. Getting the Image URL (Firefox Users) Load the page that has the image you wish to use. Right click the image and select "Copy Image Location" from the popup menu, as shown below. ![]() 2B. Getting the Image URL (Internet Explorer Users) Load the page that has the image you wish to use. Right click the image and select "Properties" from the popup menu. Highlight the Address line (shown below) and press Ctrl+C to copy or right click and select Copy from the popup menu. Press OK to close the Properties box. ![]() 3. Pasting the Image into your Post Write your introduction, then where you want the image to appear, click the Insert Image button, as circled below. ![]() A popup box will appear with an address line. Press Ctrl+V to paste or right click and select Paste from the popup menu. Your URL will then be in the address bar, as shown below. ![]() Press OK and your image should now be in your post, as shown below. ![]() Hope that helps everyone! ![]() |
