I'd love to work on a creative team, and have tried applying to a few recently, but with no luck. Although, I've been digi scrapping for a little while now, I'm still learning different techniques, so I don't think that I'm as seasoned as I should be yet. But, I'd like to keep trying, and it occured to me today that I don't really know if there is some order in applying to teams - should I apply to guest teams first to get my feet wet and to get more experience? Or does it not matter?

I applied to my first CT a few days ago-- being for Joana's GUEST ct. I'd prolly suggest starting there (with a guest one). At least that way you can "get some experience" as being part of a CT, and some designers ask you to stay on as well so you never know

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm going to start looking at more calls. Anyone know of good spots to look? The two I tried recently I heard about through blogs that I regularly read.

Before DST I would go to www.justdigitalcalls.com and check out CT calls there. Now I just go to the Calls forum here @ DST. HTH!

I'd do a guest gig first just to make sure you know what you're "getting yourself into."

I would try adding the "searching blinkies" to your siggy along with a link to your gallery.

It's sometimes easier than answering a hundred calls. Be sure to put the gallery link in your siggy, though, so the designers out there can see what you can do. |

I'm on two CT's and I've never had a guest spot. I don't really think it matters which one you do first. Just make sure to read the CT requirements so you know what you're getting into. Good luck!

I think working first as a guest would be the best way to go--plus, I think it would be nice to work with a variety of people--it would help keep your creative juices flowing!

Great ideas everyone!
