okay, so now when i open the file within acdsee from my EHD, all the thumbnails have a tiny little stop sign image on them....what happened??

did you move everything through acdsee ? If you didn't, move them back to where they were the way you moved them, then move them to your EHD through acdsee.

Thank you! I don't know what you mean by move them through Acdsee--just copied and pasted LOL...
and i can sEE the images, but the thumbnails all have a little 'stop sign " in the upper left...very weeeeeird. |

okay, i am moving em back, and then 'importing' everything again from acdsee..will let you know what happens...

when i try to open any file on my EHD from within Acdsee, a little red stop sign shows in the corner. i can still open the files, etc. but the stop sign is annoying lol...

Hi,
__________________Is this the first time you have worked with this EHD? Is this EHD a Seagate EHD by chance? I am sure we can get it fixed. First thing is let's make sure it's not excluded. Go to Database | Excluded Folders Look through that list and make sure it isn't there. If it is there then click on that folder and say remove. You have now removed it from the excluded folders so you really included it.
