Default Couch to 5K in 9 Weeks--Any takers?

I found this training program that helps you go from inactivity (aka sitting in front of my computer scrapping) to being able to run a 5k (3 miles) in 9 weeks. It's 3 workouts a week about 25-30 minutes apiece. I'm going to give this a try because I'd really like to be able to run again. Besides I've been watching a lot of Alias and Sydney Bristow makes me want to be skinny!! So here's where you can find the program:

http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml

Anyone want to do this with me? I'd love to have some support and motivation from others to keep me going on this! There are even podcasts that have all the intervals timed out for you to music. You can get them here:

http://www.ullreys.com/robert/Podcas.../podcasts.html

So let me know if you are game!! I have already done Week 1 Day 1. It didn't seem too hard when I was doing it, but I feel it now, the day after! So come on, get in shape with me, it'll be fun to do it together!!

Added: We will be keeping up on each other in THIS FORUM. Please go over there and register and have fun with us!!

I'm game. I've found myself thinking about running again. Since I just finished work (I'm a teacher) now is a good time to start.

Count me in!

I really need to get back to running. I think trying to start this week would be crazy, as its finals week at school...but I'll try and start next week (even though I'll be in Tahoe a couple of days...I can run there. ) I'm gonna see if I can get my husband to do this too.

Darn, there is no where to walk or run around here. I live at the end of a 2 mile dirt road that is prone to snakes and it is like up and down hilly. I"ve been having to been real careful since the snakes are running right now - they are huge and in our yard!!

I have had a printout from this site hanging on my fridge for YEARS (if you can believe that!) ... and I really need to get off my duft and DO IT. What better time than the present??! Thanks for the podcast info though, that makes it so much easier!
