NSBR: HUGE recall from Mattel

Thanks for the heads up. We too made our purchase before the May 1st date. However, with Elizabeth's birthday in two days, I'm hoping we don't receive one of these items. I'm going to save this thread in case we do!

I was just coming here to post this! My son has a TON of that stuff from his birthday in July!!! I just read it and am going now to throw it all out! I mean a ton! He loves Dora and Deigo!!!

Maybe I'm reading the announcement wrong, but it looks like the items recalled start April 19th. I'm confused why I keep seeing May 1st mentioned here.

We just bought a couple of these toys a few weeks ago, as early Xmas gifts. I need to go check the boxes to see if they are part of the recall.
