NSBR: Which free blog? Advice please...
Okay...I'm thinking I might want to start a blog, but I'd like it to be free...and I need it to be "for dummies," meaning I have absolutely no HTML experience and don't want to worry about having to "embed" any codes or whatever the lingo is
__________________ It has to be for a very stupid person...me!!I'm going to be using it for SB LOs, pictures, recipes, general family info, etc. Is there one out there that fits my requirements?? Thanks!

Blogger or Livejournal, I've used both and they're very user-friendly and customizable (if you want that). I've also heard good things about wordpress.

I love my wordpress.com blog. No..not the free one you have to host on your own domain, but the free one THEY host for ya!

I love my blogger blog, it's even easier to customise now then when I first got my account

I have mine on Wordpress now & love it! I used to use Blogger & absolutely hated it, it took forever to upload new posts & putting images in your posts was a major pain! Plus it was a pain to do any customizations, even after they switched over from the beta version. So I moved over to one of the free Wordpress ones & haven't had any problems, customizing is super simple & posts are easy too! And I also use Windows Live Writer to do my posts & it is really easy to use too.

I've loved Blogger, I haven't really had any issues with it. You do need a little html tweaking to customize it right (get a new header without a box behind it) but it's not hard. Other than that initial setup, everything is easy-peasy. I have a few blogs on blogger, one is linked in my siggy. I love making new headers for them. lol.

I've ben with blogger for years. Their most recent changes make it so easy to tweek. I use Window Live Writer to write my posts. The only thing I don't like is that with Live Writer, you can't upload photos to blogger, but if you post from blogger you can upload the photos.

blogger is super easy. Seriously - really easy. I set it up and I am way challenged at techie stuff!!
__________________I moved to wordpress hosted at server space mamak has - man, that was a lot trickier!
