Remember how my 10yo Autistic DS had the lead role in his school play? Well the performance was tonight & oh my goodness, I was just in tears!
__________________He was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! If I hadn't seen it myself, I never would have believed an Autistic child could be so fearless & amazingly incredible on stage... and I swear I'm not just saying it because he's my son. As I was walking to the hall I overheard some kids discussing cast members & raving about how amazing Brandon was. It just made my heart swell with joy! Here's some photos... B is the on in the white satin jacket. (Obviously in the later pics )![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Mish,
__________________WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT! Do you see where ALL of YOUR hard work is paying off? I am so glad you shared pictures with us. I know you want to give all the credit to your son and he righthfully deserves such. But, remember, he wouldn't have been able to be in the play without you pursuing your life purpose.
Cheers!

Awww, Cindy, you're so sweet. Thank you so much for your kind words! I know you are right though, and it really does feel wonderful to see my efforts paying off in *one* area of his life at least. ![]() Now if we could just stop him from melting down at school, abusing teachers & running away.... I'd be even MORE happy! BUT... the fact is, we're getting there. It's slow going and a LOT of hard work (especially with the 5 of them on the spectrum) but moments like tonight make it all SOOOO worth it & I am so grateful to be blessed to be their Mum!
