Hi y'all...
__________________I'm mortified to admit I completely forgot my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary, sigh...I turned 40 this year too so maybe I can excuse myself because of my senility hehehe My adorable dh kindly accepts the fact that it's not entirely my fault since they are HIS parents. I feel the need to create something homemade to make up for my badness, so I picked up a cute mini accordion album kit thingy yesterday at Joann's. http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c...to_1910_737559 I'll probably do it partially digital by scanning some of the papers in. However, I don't have many pics of them to put in the book, or of my sister-in-laws family since we don't see them often. I was thinking if I had a poem (yeah, I COULD write one, but I'm lazy!) then I could spread it out on a few of the pages as a filler with cutesy stuff on the page. I also bought LOTS of pretty ribbon to go in the book. Pea Soup search came up empty for ideas too. So, basically, I'm asking if anyone has any filler ideas for me... they will be MOST appreciated!!! |

Are you going to a party or family dinner? If so, what about leaving pages for hand written notes to be tucked into. You could make slits for the corners to be tucked in & provide the papers that everyone is to write on. Good Luck.

No, they live in Texas and we are in Georgia, so there is no party planned and their anniversary was last weekend, so I'm already late with their gift.
__________________I hate it, because my MIL is so thoughtful and always sends us money for dinner on our anniversary, mother's day gift for me each year and such...she's a great MIL and I feel like a louse, so I want to do something nice, even though it's late (she has been late before, so that's not TOO bad!) Great idea though! |
