Default Question for my Mac-using sisters

Do some blogs (especially those with clocks and/or slides) load incredibly slow for you? I'm running Mac OS 10.3.9 and using Firefox 1.5. I have a highspeed connection (cable). Some blogs really make my browser crawl (message me and I'll send you links if you'd like). Has anyone else had this problem?

My Tiger is 10.4.7 and Firefox is 1.5.0.6 - I have noticed that slides are very slow to load, but that was before I became a mac-girl too. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Yes, I have noticed the same problem and I am using a Mac. I am using Safari as my browser and sometimes blogs just make it spin and spin and spin and I have to force quit my browser and forget about the freebie I really wanted to download! :-( Not sure what the problem is or what to do about it.

No problems like this so far. Is it slow opening other things too? Maybe just time for desktop house cleaning?

Firefox locks up with blogs playing music. Seen on several different blogs.

I'm with Dee-Dee. My problem is when blogs have music too.

Yep, it's blogs that have music players kill my browser, Firefox or Safari.

You can read text feeds (if they publish them) from places like Bloglines, but alot of times, images don't come through. I actually would LOVE to read two specific blogs, I admire both of them greatly, but everytime I load their pages, I crash. Makes me sad! (And a little crazy too, LOL!)

Music...that could be it. I wish there was a way around it, there are some blogs that I really like, but I can't seem to load

Thanks ladies!
