Now, I KNOW everyone is thankful for their family, health...etc. I'm not downplaying any of that but let's hear something else!

I'm so thankful for online friendships! I just got in the mail today a book on CD to borrow from Kaylaugh...when hearing about my hyperemesis woes she wanted to share a Max Lucado book on CD she's been listening to. I unwrapped it like it was Christmas and can't wait to listen! It's the kindness of strangers taken to a new level, because we aren't total strangers. So many people on this board have touched me by their kindness!

My job. I work with the kind of people that I'd choose as friends and I truly love what I do. It's never difficult to go in to work in the morning and my schedule is flexible enough to allow me to spend time with my son and take care of unexpected situations. I teach college freshman/sophomore math students in an urban setting, and I feel like I get more from my students than I could ever offer them. I got very lucky with this job.

I'm thankful for my art - I went back and looked through my WHOLE layouts folder last night and cheesy as it is to say it I am just so glad that I have this hobby - they are really special to have.

Besides being thankful for my friends (online and off!), my family, and my health..

I am thankful for the fact that Safeway (grocery store) lets me buy my food online AND delivers because if I had to go to the store the day before Thanksgiving i wouldn't make it out alive. Now how's THAT for a run on sentance!

I am so thankful that people chipped in and bought my husband and I airline tickets to go home to CA for Christmas. We have been on the mission field 7 yrs and it will be our first Christmas home I haven't seen my youngest daughter in 1-1/2 yrs so it will be great!!!

I'm thankful for my wonderful boyfriend who has been nursing me selflessly over the past few days as I have had terrible Flu. He has been running to the pharmacy to stock up on flu remedies, anti-sickness pills, etc; making homemade soup for me; tucking me up in bed with my ipod and a wet towel to put over my feverish face, and even buying me flowers to make me feel better. He has basically been waiting on me hand and foot and never complains, and for that I am a lucky girl. I think real love and tenderness is often more apparent in moments such as these (when I have been in my PJ's for days with unwashed hair and looking like a zombie), rather than in the grand, romantic gestures.

I'm EXTREMELY thankful my work week is almost over and I can go play with my new printer that was delivered just-in-time for the long weekend.

I'm very thankful I work out of my home and don't have to worry about driving in the snow we're supposed to get today.

I'm thankful I am going to Mexico in exactly 21 days from today for a looong vacation (19 days!!!) wooo hooo!

I'm in a silly mood today so I have to add this one

I'm thankful for Weight Watchers Cookies-n-Cream ice cream bars and the fact they're delicious and only 2 pts

I, too am thankful for online sites like this where we make friendships and get great advice and excellent tips and techniques.

I am thankful that I work for a wonderful leader/manager.

I am thankful that my husband and I both have good jobs that allow us to enjoy a reasonable life style.

I am thankful for the soldiers serving our country to protect my freedom.

I am especially grateful for a very strong and close family that includes children, grandchildren, children's in-laws, et. We spend time together often, and it is a real blessing.
