I'm really sure I will love Kaboodle. So easy to keep track of what I want. Easy to find other kits of similar styles.
__________________I'm wondering about the 'friends' list. I mean, can I just add a person as a 'friend' because I like the stuff they find...? Or should I really know the person..? I mean I'm recognizing lots of the scrappers I see on Kaboodle from DST. Is it presumptious of me to just add them as a 'friend'..... ?What's everyone else doing on Kaboodle?

I request them to be my friend if I "like what they have". It's an easy way (for me) to see what's new and what's hot from their lists. Plus, you can add to yours pretty quickly.

They have to accept your invitation to be a friend, and if they don't want you to add them, then they won't accept the invite.
__________________I've been invited to be a friend to people I don't know - people who've matched my shopping style - and I haven't added any of them just because I wasn't interested in the networking part of it.... But I wasn't annoyed to get the invite either. It just wasn't what I was looking for. So I think it's perfectly normal to add people as friends. It's kind of the Kaboodle thing.... If they are interested, they'll accept. |

I don't bother looking for Friends to add. I never have for any of those sites like Good Reads, Flickr, MySpace, etc. It's just something I've always been too busy to get around to doing. But I accept any Friend that I know. Even if I don't know them well....if I recognize someone as a fellow digi-scrapper then I'm happy to accept the Friend request.

A lot of us have links to our own kaboodles posted in our signatures so I would consider that an invitation to network with them through kaboodle. I need to get mine caught up and use it more often!

Just like Shannon, I will only add people I either know or that I recognize as being a digiscrapper.

I only accept invites from digiscrappers, then I see what they want to have and it normally leads to more stuff on my own kaboodle.

Thanks for cluing me in!
__________________I've noticed that several of you have separate lists for each digi store. I guess that would be helpful because then when you go to buy from that store, all the stuff is grouped together...? And I've noticed that some scrappers have 'Scrap Supplies Wishlists' and 'Got It' LIsts. Right now I just have one Digi list for everything I see that I want. But maybe I should consider having separate lists.

I had a got it list, but it got so many, so I deleted it but I did break up some of the stores which makes it easy if a store would have a whole sale or something

Rather than a separate list for each store, I set up the categories within my wishlist. That way I don't have so many lists to deal with, but it's still organized so I can find what I'm looking for.
