Rachael,
It has taken me 39 years of searching to be the person I am today. Taking the wrong road, making the wrong decisions, listening to what others had decided was right for me and accepting it even when I knew it wasn’t what I believed. I was young and naive. Looking for myself, trying to find who I wanted to be and I looked everywhere and asked everyone except myself the questions that only I could answer. I think I was scared to find the answers, scared that what I found out might not be good enough for the world. It took a LONG time and a lot of painful mistakes for me to realize that I will never be everything that others want me to be, I will never be anything other than who I am. I hope that it doesn’t take you as long to be comfortable with who you are. Don’t try to be what others want of you, but strive to be a better YOU. Know your character, know your heart , follow Gods will for your life and stay true to yourself. This is the key to true happiness...to be yourself and love who you are.
