Journaling:
This March you had a special homework assignment; to work with your parents to create a leprechaun trap. So we worked together to create this little masterpiece that we hoped would catch us a tricky fellow.

That night though, you could barely sleep. You were up at 2am, in tears, worrying about how you could hear leprechaun steps. After a sleepless night, we finally went downstairs on St. Patrick’s Day morning to discover that he had visited us, but the trap didn’t work. Instead of being caught, he turned our milk green (again) and left a trail of green sparklies and green Hershey’s kisses through the kitchen, ending at the window where he must have escaped.

Maybe we’ll get him next year.
