This page was a collection of some cooking memories and my 12 yo DD.. the photos werent great but I wanted to capture this time period. (be sure to read my DD's blog entry. She guest blogged on my blog and she wrote about a game she and her younger sister play.)
I dont want to forget this time... Emily chopping, mixing, never a recipe in sight, many disasters, occasionally something fabulous BUT always artfully presented...
Hannah and I are going to play our newest fave game "Country Style Cooking with Bela Rose Johnson and Camyrn Ray Rowlings". Sometimes we pretend we are on the cooking channel and we cook things. We dont use real food (most of the time) but we do use snow and pine branches (the branches are usually the pig and the snow we can form into anything. We basically just go on our deck with little knives and say "Welcome y’all to
Country Style Cooking with your hosts Me Bela Rose and me Camryn Ray and today we’ll be
making pig and hamburger patties". I know it sounds a bit dumb but it is pretty fun. Right now I got to go Alabama is calling me
